Northdrugstore.com review

My eye doctor told me I needed Restasis and was absolutely shocked when I found it cost just under $300 for a months perscription! Since I could not pay that amount each month I went online to see if I could save $ on this perscription. Northdrugstore was the cheapest so I ordered my perscription. Their fax machine didn't work 3 or 4 times, a couple of times said that the call center was no longer in business. When I finally got the perscription faxed the site said they would give me a 3% discount for having the amount taken directly our of my checking account. I filled out the information requested then got an e-mail asking for my bank account information on paper and asked me to fax it back; FIRST CLUE! I filled out the information and it took about 3 or 4 tries to get it successfully faxed; SECOND CLUE! I then received a call from a person with a foreign accent asking me again for my checking account information saying they didn't have access to the online system; THIRD CLUE! I refused to give my information again and asked her to transfer me to her boss and I was put on hold for a long time' FORTH CLUE! I hung up and tried calling Northdrugstore and was only able to leave a message since they didn't answer their phone. I tried calling again several times in the next couple of hours and finally got a live person who again asked me again for my bank account information; FIFTH CLUE! I gave him my bank account information but started getting very nervous. I called my bank and they told me that, yes indeed, they could clean out my bank account and I would have to wait and see. She told me if they did clean out my bank account I could request an investigation but I probably won't get my money back; SIXTH CLUE! I immediately closed out my bank account! DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Way too expensive!

Paid $251 for an asthma inhaler, Alvesco. My doctor told me to order from them as they were the cheapest. I did, without doing any further research. I later found out that my mail order pharmacy through Blue Cross offered it for $100. NorthDrugStore offered a price match, so I called them. They refused to honor it, saying it did not apply to orders already placed, but they would match the price for my next order. WHY WOULD I WANT TO ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN?
